Brussels Sprouts with pomegranate molasses

 

Ingredients:

- 500g (1lb) Brussels sprouts 

- 1/3 cup sliced almonds 

- 1/4 cup pomegranate molasses 

- 1 tablespoon Aleppo pepper (or to your taste) 

- salt and pepper for seasoning 

- olive oil spray, or 2 tablespoons olive oil 

Directions:

- wash and dry Brussels sprouts.

- trim the top and cut in half.

- place it on oven sheet or iron skillet.

- season it with salt and pepper, spray with olive oil.

- roasted in preheated oven on 350 degree for 30 minutes. If you like it crispy, put it on broil for few minutes.

- in a small oven pan, place sliced almonds, and roast for 15 minutes.

- drizzle Brussels sprouts with pomegranate molasses, add the roasted almonds and Aleppo pepper.
