Sumac Sticks

 

Ingredients:

- 2 1/2 all-purpose flour

- 1/2 cup whole milk

- 1/2 cup melted butter

- 1/2 cup vegetable oil

- 1 teaspoon mehleb

- 1 teaspoon salt

- 2 teaspoons baking powder

- 1/4 cup nigella seeds

- 1/4 cup sesame seeds

- 3 tablespoons heaven cream, or whole milk.

Directions:

- In a big bowl, mix all the ingredients together until well combined. Let it rest for an hour.

- Divide the dough to 2 pieces, using a rolling pin, roll the first piece into a rectangle shape 1cm thick. Using the pizza cutter start cutting lines, approximately 21/2cm width. And 5cm length. Repeat with the dough till done.

- Bruch with heavy cream or whole milk, drizzle with nigella seeds and sesame seeds.

- In a preheated oven at 350 F, bake the sticks for 10 to 12 minutes.

- Store in an airtight container for up 1 week.
